When I tell people that I’m on my way to Thailand for a few months, sometimes the response is, “I’m so jealous!”
At first I’d just acknowledge what they’d said, not really knowing what to say, and feeling a bit awkward.
But it’s not like I won the lottery or something random like that. Traveling is a priority for me and I did the work to make it happen–no magic there.
In desiring a more positive outcome to these potentially awkward conversations, I began to try out different responses.
