Relax into intuition. Get into the New World (with tags).

[06.02] Daily Dispatch

When we talk about realizing your goals with calm and confidence, the conversation is usually Big — mindset, planning tools, clarity of vision, and so on.

When you get right down to it, the most important guidance you can follow is already within you. You access it when you listen to your Wise Self.

In fact, if I had to choose only one endeavor to practice for the rest of my life, it’d be to keep the line of connection to my Wise Self open. I see it as priming the pump, keeping the conduit clear and lubed up for easy communication.

How do you do this?

There’s no One way to do this and the toughest aspect may well be to just remember that it needs to be tended to.

Which is what happened this morning and that is reported in this Dispatch.

Hint: it has to do with relaxing.

Susan Piver intrepid leader of the Open Heart Projectin reported that Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, head of the Shambala Organization (meditation), has said that the most important thing is to RELAX.

[I’m going to riff on this for a few moments — the video doesn’t have any of this.]
Relax into your Self.
Relax into your body.
Relax into your being.

We make meditation into this big thing… “am I doing it right?” “it’s hard!” when really, the most important thing is to relax.

Let go of tension.
Let go of stresses.
Let go of trying.

Can you imagine if Being were as simple as Relaxing? Mamma mia! Think about that for a moment! Could it be that exquisitely simple? To just allow everything but what is right here, right now to just melt away…

We silly humans like to make everything so complicated. “I can DO this!!!” she grimaces in determination. Ha ha. (Laughing at myself here.)

Ok, riff over. Moving on…

The second part of the Dispatch is for those who insist on continuing to use the archaic hierarchical form of organization that we grew up with, namely, folders (in Evernote these are Notebooks), rather than the new-fangled spunky and flexible method of Tags.

And with that, the video shall speak for itself =)
